Prairieland Park is now accepting applications from independent artists, commercial vendors, and games operators whose offerings align with the spirit of Pop Con YXE.
Event Theme: comic books, manga, anime, sci-fi, fantasy, horror, gaming, pop culture, fandom, cosplay, LARP, movies and TV.
Please note: Once accepted, this application serves as your contract. Please read this carefully.
All submissions will be reviewed by our Selection Committee. If accepted, you will receive a confirmation email and an invoice for deposits and fees sent to the email address provided.
Important Notes:
– Event maps, booth locations, setup instructions, and additional details will be provided only after all fees and deposits have been paid in full.
– Show Management reserves the right to adjust the event layout as needed.
– All maps and layouts are managed exclusively by Prairieland Park. To ensure the best possible guest experience, vendor placement is determined by our team, and we are unable to accommodate individual location requests.

Exhibitor Types:
There are four types of booth spaces available at Pop Con YXE 2026: Marketplace of Marvels, Craftopia, Artist Alley and Play Pavilion.
Pop Con YXE will not be accepting applications from made-to-order concessions vendors. Premade, packaged food vendors may apply if they fit the theme of the event.
Marketplace of Marvels:
- Category: Exhibitors who offer commercially made products and/or professional services.
- Theme: Vendors offering products/services that fit the theme of the event may apply. Prepackaged, ready-made foodstuffs that fit the themes of the event can also be considered. Products that don’t fit the themes of the event will not be permitted.
- Fees: $450. 3+ booths, $395.00 each. Corner surcharge – $80
- Booth Size: 10ft x 10ft
- Booth Limits: 10 booth maximum
- Exhibitor Badges: 2 badges for the 1st booth and 1 badge per any additional booths with a limit of 8 badges total.
- Tables & Chairs: Up to one 8ft table and 2 chairs may be requested per booth. Substitutions cannot be accommodated. Corner booths do not come with additional tables.
- Locations are to be open and operating during Pop Con YXE’s hours of operation – penalties apply for closing early.
Craftopia:
- Category: Exhibitors who offer original designs/handmade products produced by the vendor themselves and/or community, volunteer run non-for-profit groups.
- Eligibility: Prairieland Park reserves the right to ask for proof of process if products don’t appear handmade. 3D printed products are not considered as handmade and will not be accepted in this category. Products that are not handmade will be removed from the show.
- Theme: Vendors offering products/services that fit the theme of the event may apply. Products that don’t fit the themes of the event or the Craftopia category will not be permitted.
- Fees: $325. Corner surcharge – $80.
- Booth Size: 10ft x 10ft
- Booth Limits: Maximum of 2 booths per application
- Availability: There’s a limited number of booths designated for Craftopia. Once sold out, exhibitors must apply to the Market of Marvels.
- Exhibitor Badges: 2 badges for the 1st booth and 1 badge per any additional booths.
- Tables & Chairs: Up to one 6ft table and 2 chairs may be requested per booth. Substitutions cannot be accommodated. Corner booths do not come with additional tables.
- Locations are to be open and operating during Pop Con YXE’s hours of operation – penalties apply for closing early.
Artist Alley:
- Category: Artists who create their own artwork, comic books, and/or designs. Writers of pop culture products like comic books, sci-fi, fantasy and YA fiction.
- Eligibility: Visual artists and independent writers.
- Theme: Vendors offering products/services that fit the theme of the event may apply. Products that don’t fit the themes of the event or the Artist Alley category will not be permitted.
- Fees: $200. Corner surcharge – $60
- Booth Size: 8ft x 10ft
- Booth Limits: A maximum of 2 booths per application
- Availability: There’s a limited number of booths designated for Artist Alley. Once sold out, exhibitors must apply to Craftopia or Market of Marvels.
- Exhibitor Passes: 2 badges for the 1st booth and 1 badge per any additional booths.
- Tables & Chairs: Up to one 6ft table and 2 chairs may be requested per booth. Substitutions cannot be accommodated. Corner booths do not come with additional tables.
- Locations are to be open and operating during Pop Con YXE’s hours of operation – penalties apply for closing early.
Play Pavilion:
- Category: Game operators offering activities, games and/or experiences that fit the theme of Pop Con YXE may apply.
- Activities, games and/or experiences must be appropriate for most ages. Games/Experiences that are not suitable for certain visitors must be clearly listed (i.e. those sensitive to flashing lights, or other sensory limitations).
- Fees: Commission-based.
- Commission Rate: 20% of net sales reported daily or a minimum $500.00 per location – whichever sum is greater. Booth fees are paid via commission, the rate is calculated at 20% or $500.00 per location for the full show, whichever sum is greater. Net sales must be reported and settled weekly.
- Exhibitor Passes: 2 badges per activation.
- Upon approval of the application a deposit of $500.00 will be required.
- Locations are to be open and operating during Pop Con YXE’s hours of operation – penalties apply for closing early.
Booth Information:
Booth size for Market of Marvels and Craftopia is ten feet (10′) wide by ten feet (10′) deep.
Booth size for Artist Alley is eight feet (8’) wide by ten feet (10’) deep.
Booth size for Play Pavilion – determined by activity.
Drapery is provided standard with your booth. Back drapery is black in colour and is eight feet (8′) tall. Side drape is three feet (3′) tall and ten feet (10′) deep and is provided as separation between booths where possible for Market of Marvels. There’s no booth separation for Craftopia and Artist Alley.
Booths that are located in the center of the room may not have any structures or displays exceed eight feet (8′) in height. Exceptions may be made for booths that are located on the perimeter of the building.

Exhibitor Passes:
Pop Con YXE provides two (2) exhibitor badges per the first booth/table rented. One (1) badge is provided with each subsequent booth/table rented. A maximum of 4 additional exhibitor passes may be purchased at a discounted rate of $29.95.
Terms of Payment:
Once accepted invoices will be issued. Invoices are due withing 14 days of receipt. Installment payments can be accepted through e-transfer, contact the Trade Show and Exhibits Coordinator for more information.
All payments, including installment payments must be received by March 2, 2026.
Exhibitors who haven’t completed payment by the March 2 deadline are considered as cancelled.
Cancellation Policy:
Booth fees may be refunded, with the exception of $100.00 administration fee, when cancellations are received by March 31, 2025. No refunds will be paid on cancellations past March 31, 2025, or no-shows. Saskatoon Prairieland Park reserves the right to cancel this agreement at any time if, in its opinion, the terms and conditions of this license agreement are not being observed.
Liability Insurance:
Prairieland Park and Pop Con YXE will automatically purchase on your behalf commercial general liability insurance for five (5) million dollars ($5,000,000.00) at an additional cost of $80.00. If you provide proof of your own commercial general liability insurance this fee may be withheld. Please contact the Trade Show Sales & Exhibits Coordinator directly with questions or your proof of insurance. Applications will not be considered without insurance.
Sign Hanging Service:
Please be aware that any exhibitor signs or banners to be hung from the ceiling, must be installed by Prairieland Park staff. There is a charge for this service and size restrictions may apply.
Internet Access:
A complimentary wireless network (unsecured), for exhibitors only, will be provided with your location ($125 value). For guaranteed bandwidth, a dedicated hard-wired service can be ordered ($300).
Electrical Services:
Locations are provided complimentary access to one (1) standard 15amp/120 volt receptacle per booth utilized. Pop Con YXE does not provide electrical cabling of any kind, please ensure you have the necessary extension cords for your booth. If additional electrical services are required, they can be provided at a cost. Fees for additional power are invoiced upon approval of location and amount of additional power required.
Display Services:
Pop Con YXE can provide one (1) plain 8ft table and two (2) chairs for each Market of Marvels booth and one (1) plain 6ft table and two (2) chairs for each Craftopia or Artist Alley booth. Table covering and skirting is not provided.
If you require additional tables, chairs, or other display items they may be rented through the official supplier, Handyman Rentals. Contact information will be forwarded upon approval of location.
Sign Hanging Service:
Please be aware that any exhibitor signs or banners to be hung from the ceiling, must be installed by Prairieland Park staff. There is a charge for this service and size restrictions may apply.
Water/Sewer Services:
Prairieland Park does not provide food grade hoses, fittings, or adapters. Fees for filling and draining hot tubs will apply, other cold water connections fees may apply after approval of location. Portable sinks are available to rent for a fee, please contact the Trade Show & Exhibits Coordinator directly if required.
Health Inspections:
Concessionaires, vendors providing food products and exhibitors providing personal services like tattooing, must adhere to Saskatchewan Health Authority regulations and may be subject to an inspection.
